There are several types of diamonds in the world which are not white in colour

Diamond is the most alluring of the gems in the world, which attracts each every mankind. It is commonly referred as women’s best friend but I am sure even man can’t take their eyes of a large chunk of diamond. That’s the beauty of a diamond. Being an owner of a diamond is always a symbol of pride and status. But even if one is an owner of a diamond necklace, diamond ring or a ladies diamond bracelet, that won’t stop them from buying more. 

Online shopping has made shopping diamond much easier and hassle free. Furthermore unlike the older days buying diamonds are no more restricted to the elitist class only. The credit for which goes to the new age diamond traders and jewellery designers who have made purchasing a diamond an affordable option, and also helped diamond to break out of a particular class of the society. But it is still surprising that diamond is still considered to be the sign of aristocracy. This might be due to the grandeur of the gem itself. 

Diamond is a metastable allotrope of carbon whereby the carbon atoms are arranged in different form of face-centered cubic crystal structure denoted as diamond lattice. It is interested to note that diamond is not just a beautiful gem but also known for the hardness and thermal conductivity features. These are the features that have established diamond as not only a gem but also several accepted industrial uses as diamond knives and diamond anvil cells. Diamonds are generally found in the earth’s mantle, and brought closer to the earth surface by any volcanic eruption carried along with the magma. Though the crystal white diamond is the most common one, however there are several different types of other diamonds.

• Pink diamond: this is the world’s most rarest and expensive diamonds. Only 1% of the diamonds in the world are pink in colour, which explains how rare it is. Pink is always been the colour of love and fun, plus because the esteem stand of the pink diamonds, it is consider perfect for romantic gifts.

• Blue diamond: These are another set of rare and expensive. There are only some people in the earth who have been privileged enough witness the diamond with their own eyes. The diamond is so exceptional that even most of the Jewellers have just heard its name.

• Green diamonds: this is also one of the unusual colour diamonds. The colour of the diamond is developed due to flaw in the diamond especially some radioactive material, however this makes it priceless. 

This diamonds are all rare and sometimes more expensive than the white diamond. A ladies diamond bracelet studded with these stones will be exorbitant and unique.
